Google has admitted that it uses user behavior in determining search engine results. I'm not feeling safe anymore.
Okay. I don't care what my behavior is on the search engines, but few thousand websites can potentially be used by Google to track what I'm doing. Gmail, orkut, blogger and tens of other web moguls(I'm not sure what word to use here, because they're not just websites. For example blogger is a website that websites are built on, so...) are running Google user login system.
And if you have the Google toolbar. Oh god. They are definitely watching you!
And not only that, but they also want to tell you what websites are safe(which I actually wanted Google to do long time ago). According to this
article, Google is crawling the web in search of websites that might contain malicious content.
Well it is more than true if you think for example about the porn sites. Many of them trick people into downloading .exe files(which by the way are not video files if you did not know that). Never download .exe files from unsafe sites. They are mostly spyware or viruses...
Well... I have actually nothing against Google. I liked it for a long time. I's just that I don't like if someone not too honest(and Google is very careful about what they tell the public, plus advertisement is not advertisement, it's actually "sponsored links") has so much power.
I hope they won't achieve the same kind of power in genetics(they are in gene research too by the way). Cause some day Google might control our genes which means they might control us!

win a mascot at BloggingTips.com
Hard times for SEO, hard times. Search Engines are starting to treat Search Engine Optimizers like spammers. More and more techniques are categorized under Black Hat. Although in my opinion this had to happen eventually. I even thought it was so. But it's just abstract talk right now. I can't remember anything concrete.
Actually I think that a perfect Search Engine Optimized world would be the one with no Search Engine Optimizers. It is a world where website owners don't have to do anything more than submit their site to one Search Engine, one Directory and one Stumble-Upon-like site. This one Search Engine would find the most quality sites... and...
Ah... Who am I bullshitting. This blog here is BS anyway. I wanted some time back to start blogging. But as it seems I'm not much of a blogger. Too bad. Maybe there are some things I'm better at. Like saving the planet or finding a cure for the cancer. Or watching TV all day. Yep that's probably it. This is what I'm good at.
But if there is some poor soul that somehow found his/her way to this blog(which I highly doubt - if you do read this please comment how did you get here?) I'll try to make up the waste of time with this video.
And by the way. There's a competition where you can win a mascot at BloggingTips.com. I created a blog also named win a mascot at BloggingTips.com for the sole purpose of winning it. It requires SEO so I figured why not. The prize is pretty cool by the way.
